January Quilt Gallery – The QuiltWorks Gallery features two wonderful winter exhibits through January. Featured Quilter Sandy Feigner is known for working with wool and primitives and her show is unique, beautiful and fun. The gallery is also showing a group quilt exhibit based on the novel The Elegance of the Hedgehog by the QuiltWorks Novel Idea Quilt Club.
January Open House – QuiltWorks will hold an “Open House” on Saturday, January 7th to showcase our winter classes and give you a chance to talk with the instructors. We are offering 31 classes on everything from our popular hats to bed quilts! Check out the Hollow Cube class by Crys, African Fire Flower by Mary Ann, Diamond Jubilee by Vickie Anast, Happy Villages by Kim McCray, Log Cabin Star by Barbara Copeland, and more! And while you're visiting, enjoy goodies by Mary Ann!
Chemo Quilts for Central Oregon – On Sunday, January 8th, join Chemo Quilts for Central Oregon (www.billbrisson.com/chemo/) at the shop from 11A-3:30P to help make quilts for cancer care units in Bend.
Novel Idea – The Deschutes County Library will be unveiling their 2012 Novel Idea soon. If you would like to join our QuiltWorks Novel Idea Club please contact Marilyn at

February Quilt Gallery – Red, White, Pink and Hearts! February is American Heart Month and our themed quilt exhibit will be “Red, White, Pink and Hearts”. February First Friday Quilt Gallery Reception - The QuiltWorks staff will be wearing red for the reception on February 3rd from 5PM-7PM as part of National Wear Red Day - in honor of the American Heart Association's “Go Red For Women” movement. Please join us as we honor the exhibitors of the heart-themed quilt show. Appetizers, beverages and great conversation are free!
Long Arm Quilting – Julia Jeans and Kim McCray offer expert professional long arm quilting at reasonable prices. The work is performed at the shop on a Gammill machine. Pick up information on our services and costs from the front desk.
Never A Dull Moment – Sharpening services available for scissors and all kinds of tools. Drop them off during the week and pick them up on Thursday.
