QuiltWorks Gallery - Our July quilt exhibit has Betty Gientke as our Featured Quilter. Betty's work will awe you and her descriptions will help you learn what inspires her. The theme exhibit is "Trees" and once again the quilters from Central Oregon and Salem are sharing works of art and love.

QuiltWorks First Friday Reception - Please join us on Friday, July 6 to honor our gallery exhibitors. We'll have refreshments, door prizes and a sale. The reception is from 5 to 7 PM.

Second Saturday Strip Club – Strip Club is taking a break for the summer.  Our next Strip Club is September 8.

Sew Teach Me is non-profit that started at QuiltWorks. The vision of STM is to match mentors with youth so they can learn to sew for free. Our first match was April 10, 2017 and we have over 100 kids in or through the program and 27 screened and trained mentors. If you are interested in more information, it's available at QuiltWorks. We always welcome new mentors, new students and donors for the program. There are many ways to help out and to pass our love of sewing to the next generation.

Sew Teach Me Is Going National - The STM board has developed a General Manual that is a community's guide to starting their own program and it is completely supported by the website. Visit sewteachme.org to learn more about how other communities can begin a program to teach our youth how to sew.

Quilt Sampler! - QuiltWorks is on of the quilt shops featured in the Better Homes and Gardens Quilt Sampler magazine for the Spring publication! Every year Quilt Sampler selects 10 shops to be recognized as one of the top ten shops in the US. Please pick up your copy today. We have a Featured Quilt in the magazine called Colorful Cabins using the half log cabin block and made with Aboriginal fabrics. The kit for Colorful Cabins is available online at QuiltWorks.com or call the shop at 541-728-0527.

August Quilt Gallery - Our Featured Quilter for August will be Kathy Chism from Bend.

Longarm Promotion - We are thrilled to have two great quilters for our long arm, Vickie Minor and Karen "KD" Dougan.  We offer edge to edge quilting and have a large variety of designs to offer.
